The Cemetery

Kareena nodded sympathetically, Ursula wasn't revealing much sadness but Kareena could sense a deeper sorrow than one she spoke of, it really upset her that she had been rendered an outcast by her family..Kareena on the other hand, "I have no family. Well, none to speak of at any rate. My mother was a seer like me, but I only knew her very briefly.", she paused slightly, her words stumbling as she felt the familiar pang hit her. It was curious, wasn't it?, she mused absentmindedly , how it is possibly to miss someone you never truly knew.. "I spent the majority of my life, travelling like you did, all over the world, living under various disguises. I was taken in briefly by a coven of witches but I moved out eventually and began searching for a permanent home, a home where I could be myself and wouldn't have to hide under a false identity, a home where there were creatures maybe, like me.", she smiled reminiscently, "It was then that i found Albion.", she said and spread her hands lightly as though to say, the rest is history.

Ursula nodded. "Maybe I'll settle here in Albion as well. In other parts, I stuck to Cemeteries, for my fate is to announce death. That is why people feared me and well, left me alone." She looked away. "Also, sorry for what you've been through. I don't know much if I suffered before being banshee."

Kareena shrugged, "Nah im alright", she smiled reassuringly. "Its not too bad, its easier to suppress my.own emotions now that I'm.acquianted with other's feelings." Kareena did feel great about her new friend, but she couldnt pretend not to be apprehensive about that death wail thing of Ursula's. It was horrible and she wasnt in a hurry to expreience it again. She added quietly, "Um, by the was just out of academic curiousity..how often do um, deaths occur?"

Ursula looked at her as if she was mad and gave her a bored look. "You tell me." Ursula leaned back on nothing, just sat in na awkward angle. "I can foresee the deaths seconds before it's done, but not how many and when are they happening."

Kareena pursed her lips, embarrased, "Well, okay" she said. Then propping her knees up, she hugged them.to her chest and blinked, her eyes suddenly blank as they changed to silver.

Ursula looked at her with interest. "Whoah! How did you do that?" She asked excitedly.

Kareena grew rigid, giving no sign that she had hear Ursula's surprised exclamation, infact neither indicatimg that could see her. She stared straight ahead, her face impassive as her eyes begna growing brighter and brighter, shining silver. Kareena began shuddering convulsively, her bright eyes shining even brighter until they were terribly bright as which point Kareena burdt out in a raspy voice,
"I see a maiden, young and fair
Standing tall without a care
But not for long for as soon will she
Not be strange to Misery
A young man shall find her
And take her heart
But then alas, he shall depart
Leaving her to the spirits of woe
Her wounds of pain she dare not show
In the hope that she is not yet forsaken
But she knows not his breath is taken

In time her journey, fate will show"

Ursula began to grow worried and specially freaked by Kareena's acts. Maybe it was prophecy? She had heard of those before, but she didn't know they loked so scary. She swallowed hard. "S-sorry." Apologizing, she screeched another one of her death screams, but this time with no feelings of agony, just a try to make her snap out of it.

Kareena shook her head confusedly, keeping her eyes shut tightly at though hit by a very bright light. When she finally opened them her dazed look had gone and she winced at Ursula, annoyed, "What the hell are you doing that for?", she said, indicating her wail with a chin jut.

Ursula whimpered, looking at her tiny feet. "I-I'm so sorry, but I was scared..." She swallowed hard. "But that was really scary."

Kareena frowned, a crease appearing between her eyebrows, "What was?", she asked her narrowed eyes scrutinising Ursula intently.

Ursula whimpered at the gaze. "You said something about a woman and....a man and he'd leave and..." Her voice slowly turned to whispers, she was trembling.

Kareena mentally face-palmed. "Oh crap.. Did my eyes go silver?" she asked Ursula wearily. Just when she had been feeling normal too.. She should've known, she never be allowed to feel normal. Never. Not for as long as she lived..

Ursula shakily nodded, afraid that she was to leave her.

Kareena tried to.smile but it came out like a grimace, "Well you just witnessed a prophecy"

Úrsula nodded. "I know..." She swallowed hard. "Are you still anrgy with me...?"

Kareena's eyes widened, "Angry? with you?", she frowned wobdering what the hell she must've saod, "No actially, why should I be?"

"Because of my scream....I shouldn't have done it, forgive me, but I was so scared...." The banshee admits sheepishly, peeking from behind her knees.

"Ph!", Kareena said.."Ofcourse not, it's alright
I can understand you were startled.." her voice trailed away, presumbly Ursula thought she was a freak now.

Úrsula sighed in relief. "Thank you so much!" She beamed, unhugging her legs touching slightly Kareena's arm, bony cold fingers barely holding for long. "So you're an Oracle of sorts." She mused. "Always liked them. Met one that was really nice to me." She nodded and giggled. "Now I met two!"

Kareena laughed and reached forward and hugged Ursula, but let go rather quickly, muttering "sorry", though she flashed an apologetic grin at her.

Úrsula winced at the hug but smiled nonetheless. "Hugs feels funny...I can't remember the last time I got hugged." She muttered sadly.

Kareena smiled, "Well a.mimut ago", she said sxrewing up her face slightly.

Ursula giggled. "I know! I mean, before you." She looked up to the moon.

"Something wrong?", Kareena asked expectantly, yawning slightly.
